Emissions and Thermodynamic Performance Simulation of Industrial Gas Turbine

 

Because of the severity in the national and international demands concerning the environmental protetion, the development of kinetic mechanisms dedicated to the prediction of NOx formation for the combustion of many fuels and its control is an important research subject. Therefore the main objective of this paper is to evaluate the influenece of the fuel gas composition on the thermodynamic performance and on the emissions predictions. Thus, several approaches of chemical reactor network were considered in order to choose the methodology that best predicts the temperature, CO and NOx formation within a gas turbine combustor at base load regime and at operation condictions.
